This book begins with a prologue in the past that sets up gaslighting and attempted grooming of a 16yo minor (Haven) by a youth pastor.
It contains general descriptions of previous abuse multiple characters have experienced.
There’s on page violence and sex.
The male main character went to jail in the period between the prologue and the present day, and that’s discussed.
The female main character has no sexual experience before the book begins.
